Matmos to Release The Ganzfeld EP, The Marriage of True Minds Full-Length

Matmos are set to release The Ganzfeld EP on October 16th through Thrill Jockey. In EP is in advance of "the most conceptually elaborate yet weirdly poppy record of their career", The Marriage of True Minds, due out in early 2013. To create the album the band performed parapsychological experiments based on the ganzfeld ("entire field") in which they attempted to "transmit 'the concept of the new Matmos record' directly into [subjects'] minds".
