Patti Smith compilation album due

Arista Records will be releasing a 2-disc career retrospective compilation from the one and only Patti Smith on March 19th. Entitled Land 1975-2002, the album will feature previously released tracks from throughout her career on the first disc (sort of a greatest hits type thing, as selected by fans) and various unreleased songs, demos, alternate takes and whatnot on the second disc.
