The National Working on New Covers Comp, Contribute to Portal 2

According to a Spinner interview with bassist Scott Devendorf, The National will contribute a track to a forthcoming Grateful Dead covers album (also to be a follow-up to the Dark Was The Night compilation). However, it's in the "very early stages" and not due out until the "next year or two." In related news, the band have contributed a new song, "Exile Vilify," to the Portal 2 soundtrack.
