Jamie Stewart has signed Xiu Xiu to a deal with Polyvinyl Records and assembled a new lineup, including Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls) and Sam Mickens (Dead Science). A new full-length is due in 2012. Cryptically, there are "huge plans for the not-so-distant future." [www.polyvinylrecords.com]
