The new project from ex-Toadies frontman Todd Lewis and ex-Rev. Horton Heat/Tenderloin drummer Taz Bentley, The Burden Brothers, have launched their website and released a couple of songs. The songs, 'Your Fault' and 'Hang Your Head', are featured on the new Buzz-Oven compilation which can be picked up in the Dallas area or at the Buzz-Oven website. You can download the mp3s of the songs on the Burden Brothers page on the Buzz-Oven site or listen to them in Real Audio on the Burden Brothers homepage. Lewis and Bently have made it known that they are not interested in releasing their music on major labels and soon will allow fans to purchase a membership and receive a single a month from the group and at the end of the year receive a full length CD along with bonus material.
