Grandaddy VS. Modesto PD

Reported by heyrevolver

Grandaddy frontman Jim Fairchild was recently detained for public drunkeness in Modesto, CA while taking a break from recording the band's new album with some friends. Head over to the band's official website to read the full account from Mr. Fairchild himself, pretty shocking. In other news, it seems that Grandaddy's former label, Will Records, will be releasing a reportedly "new" album titled "Concrete Dunes" on February 19th. The band has reported that the "new" album consists of material from "The Broken Down Comforter Collection", which coincidentally sells for less than the new release. Basically, the band wanted all fans to know: "... we have nothing to do with the release of a record entitled Concrete Dunes."
