GVSB signs with Jade Tree

While currently in the studio recording their upcoming full-length, Girls Against Boys finally have a label to put it out on. After parting ways with Geffen when their 1997 album Freak*On*Ica didn't do quite so well, the band has been fairly quiet. They recorded and compiled the music for the independent film Series 7 on Koch Records last year, as well as caught the attention of Jade Tree records. The label recently signed GVSB and plans to release their new album on May 14th. It is described by the band as "stripped-down, bare-assed rock -- as dark, abrasive, and strangely compelling as we've ever been."
