If you have a little extra time or just want to reminisce about last year, there is an interesting article at CMJ.com that sums up the musical year of 2001. It lists everything from January, when Napster settled its lawsuit with TVT, to December, when Spin Magazine chose U2 as artist of the year and Rollingstone chose (clears throat) Britney Spears.
