Gary Lightbody Assembles Tired Pony

Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol will team up with Richard Colburn of Belle and Sebastian as well as Peter Buck of R.E.M. for a new "country-tinged" side-project, Tired Pony. The group's album will be produced by Jacknife Lee. Lightbody is reportedly also working on a project called Tanks!, which is more "electro" like LCD Soundsystem. [www.twentyfourbit.com]
