Brainwashed, an excellent resource for independent music and home to many established independent artists and labels, has announced the results of their annual reader's choice poll. There's an interesting mix here -- everything from major label artists like Radiohead, Bjork and Aphex Twin to established indie acts like Low, Mogwai and Nick Cave to more obscure and eclectic bands like Coil, Kid606 and Sigur Ros. Forget the Grammys, it's awards like these that are voted on by actual people that really matter.
