The Shins Announce Lineup Changes

According to Pitchfork, James Mercer has parted ways with Marty Crandall and Jesse Sandoval. The Shins now include "Ron Lewis from Grand Archives and Fruit Bats on bass and Joe Plummer of Modest Mouse on drums." The new album will be released on Mercer's Aural Apothecary, but not until early next year. [pitchfork.com]
