Sigur Rós Tear Up The Pool

Sigur Rós have made plans to hit the studio, an indoor swimming pool that has been converted into a recording studio, in Reykjavík, Iceland to record the follow up to their critically acclaimed album, "Ágætis Byrjun". The band premeired three new tracks at the Virgin Megastore Shortlist Prize in November, at which they took home the win. MCA Records hopes to have the new album out by Fall 2002. In other news, more Sigur Rós music will be created for an Icelandic documentary, "Hlemmur", about homeless people living at a bus station.
