Stone Temple Pilots frontman, Scott Weiland, was arrrested on charges of assault and battery in Las Vegas on Monday. His wife, Mary Weiland, was trying to prevent him from leaving the Hard Rock Hotel to retrieve a prescription, because she was worried about his drug abuse. Weiland then pushed her against the wall and stepped on her as he left the room. Mary Weiland contacted the hotel security and the local police showed up on the scene. Scott Weiland stated that the prescription was for torn cartilage in his knee and that he suffers from bi-polar disorder, for which he doesn't take his prescribed medication.
