Eels set to release incredibly thorough compilations

Typically a "Best Of" or "Rarities" collection from a band is just another way for a band to fulfill a contractual obligation but in the case of the forthcoming Eels compilations the band is going to great lengths to take care of their fans. They are gearing up to release Meet The EELS: Essential EELS Vol. 1 (CD+DVD) and EELS Useless Trinkets (2CD+DVD) on January 15th, 2008.
