Foo Fighters Update
Reported by sicarii
It seems the most exciting thing going on in the life of Dave Grohl right now is his acquiring of an old amp to use during the recording of the next Foo Fighters' album. Dave has updated fans with a posting at the Foo Fighters website with a list of his recent audio purchases, one being Rick Neilson's amp from Cheap Trick. Foo Fighters are at Dave's Virginia home recording their 4th album. He says, "There are lots of new songs to choose from. 29 to be exact. We've just really started to get into it, picking the ones with the most potential first, but you never know. Sometimes the weird ones sneak up on you at the last minute (like MIA did), so it's always best to take a stab at every one of them. Halo, Gun Beside My Bed, New Wave, Bottomed Out, and The One are the ones that we've gotten into so far." The Foo Fighters album is due in mid-2002.
