Reported by yewknee

Icelandic wonder, Bjork, apparently has a new album in the works and is considering a release for the summer of 2003. The enigmatic Bjork.com webmaster "Meester Fly" reports that she has been recording a "song a day. song a day. for how many days. I do not know. but some days." Aside from being tenatively titled LakeExperience, there's not a whole lot else to tell. However, there are two strange "flys eye view" clips on her website that reveal some very very basic sounds from the forthcoming works.

Where'd the cheese go?

Reported by yewknee

Earlier in 2002, Ween was hired by the largest advertising firm in the country to write a jingle for Pizza Hut's "The Insider" pizza. After months of rewrites they were eventually dropped from the project as the firm (nor Pizza Hut) never felt the music worked appropriately. Fortunately for all us the band has posted some of the jingles on their site. You can check it out here.

I (Heart) Mogwai

Reported by heyrevolver

Scottish indie rockers Mogwai (whose "Summer" was used as the music in that new Levi's ad with the buffalo stampeding) have entered the world of charity rock auctions in a very unique way. The band is putting drummer Martin Bulloch's old pacemaker up for sale on EBay. The proceeds are going to (surprisingly enough) the British Heart Foundation.
