March Of Death

Reported by heyrevolver

Want a first taste of the new Zack De La Rocha solo material? Head over to www.marchofdeath.com and download the song "March of Death," his go at a protest song regarding the current war in Iraq. As reported, the song is from the work the ex-RATM frontman has been doing with DJ Shadow. Zack De La Rocha's solo album still has no official release date. This seems to be a step in the right direction, though.

Sell us ersatz, dressed up and real fake

Reported by ben

In a desperate attempt to become relevant again, Marilyn Manson is setting up about 10 'Grotesque Burlesque' cabaret events leading up to the release of his latest opus, The Golden Age of Grotesque, on May 13. Mr. Manson's comments were, "They're going to see art, they're going to see music, but it's going to be like the speakeasies. It's going to be like Weimar Berlin before it got censored, it's gonna be decadent and entertaining, and I like that. I like wearing a tie."

Is is true what they say about Dixie?

Reported by ben

I'm sure you know about the Dixie Chicks being banned from radio stations across the nation after one of them told fans in London that she was ashamed to be from Texas (cause of Dubya, as if you had to be told). Well apparently South Carolina was so offended by this insult that the state legislature voted 50-35 in favor of a resolution to make the Dixie Chicks perform a free 'apology' concert to South Carolina troops.
