Spymob Get The Shaft

Reported by heyrevolver

The date has come and gone, but, alas, there is no Spymob album in stores. Why? Well, Mr. L.A. Reid, CEO of Arista Records, decided not to release the band's debut, Sitting Around Keeping Score, at the 11th hour. Star Trak and the band are currently shopping the album around to different labels and hope to have it out in next 2-3 months. Currently, you can catch the band performing on the second stage and backing N.E.R.D. on this summer's Sprite Liquid Mix Tour. And, finally, look for the band backing Pharrell Williams when he performs "Frontin'", from the upcoming Neptunes compilation album Star Trak Presents The Clones, on a few TV appearances this week. You can either watch Last Call with Carson Daly on August 5th, Late Night With David Letterman and Pepsi Smash TV on August 6th, or Jimmy Kimmel Live on August 8th.

I'd Like To Feeler...

Reported by holmes

On their official message board, Toadies drummer Mark Reznicek says that Feeler, an unreleased album recorded in 1998, will finally see the light of day in early 2004 thanks to Aezra Records. The record was originally meant to be the band's sophomore record but was rejected by the band's then-label, Interscope. While the release date isn't set, nor a tracklisting set, fans can expect quite a few unreleased gems, including "Your Day", "Clarksville", "Dead Boy Boogie", and "Little Fish", to name a few.

Reported by erun

I'm just going to quote directly from the new definitive APC website: A Perfect Circle debuted the new live show privately for friends and family at their rehearsal space in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 24th. The new lineup of the band played 6 new songs, including Lullaby, Pet, Weak And Powerless, The Package, The Outsider, and the Failure cover (Yewknee speaks the truth) The Nurse Who Loved Me. Filming for the Weak And Powerless video began early last week in LA. It is being directed by The Brothers Strause, who you may know from their videos for Linkin Park, Godsmack and Bel Biv DeVoe (Da Hot Shit). You can view the cover art for their upcoming album Thirteenth Step at the address above.
