Baseball & Guns & Roses?

Ok folks, this is a weird one. It has been reported by various sources that New York Mets catcher Mike Piazza leaked a new Guns N' Roses song on the radio. Piazza who is an avid music fan and regularly appears on New York Q104.3's Friday Night Rocks radio show leaked the new track entitled "I.R.S." on the program. As soon as the new track was played thousands of emails and phone calls were made to the station including one from the GN'R management stating to not play the track again. A meeting was arranged to return the CD. How Piazza got his hands on the track is still a mystery.

Coldplay Ready DVD

Coldplay have announced that they will release their Coldplay Live 2003 CD/DVD on November 11th (US). The DVD was shot by Done & Dusted on super-16 film back in July at Sydney's Horden Pavillion. Also, included in the package is a 40-minute tour documentary, band commentary, the new songs "One I Love" and "Moses", as well as the lost classic "See You Soon", which was previously only available on Coldplay's first Paralphone release, The Blue Room EP. A full track listing has not yet been released, but expect a good show for sure.

Confirmed artists on this year’s tour include: Poison The Well, Dillinger Escape Plan, Avenged Sevenfold, and Eighteen Visions and many more. QOTSA goes ahead with 4th single

Queens Of The Stone Age have plans to release "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire" as the 4th single from Songs For the Deaf. The band plans to put together a video in the same vein as "First It Giveth" - mostly live and backstage footage. "It's one of those 'we're gonna be making our next record soon' singles", Nick Oliveri said. The band will hit the studio probably sometime early next year.

Epitaph discovers some Special Goodness

Epitaph Records has signed The Special Goodness to their roster of artists. The bands official website reports that they've "agreed in principle to sign with Epitaph records and more details will be forthcoming." So the ink may not be on the page quite yet.
