Polyphonic Spree Come to a Halt

The Polyphonic Spree have been forced to cancel several show dates due to a family emergency. Dates from September 23rd in New Orleans, through September 28th in Philadelphia have been postponed. Details on ticket refunds or new dates for the shows will be forthcoming. The 'band' still has plenty of other shows lined up this year though, so don't sleep.

Rock Against Bush

Rock Against Bush, an upcoming compilation and the brainchild of Fat Mike of NOFX, Fat Wreck Chords and Punkvoter, will be released in April 2004. NOFX, along with Green Day, Alkaline Trio, Pennywise, Good Charlotte, and Sum 41 will all contribute to the album with all proceeds going towards print and television advertising to encourage young pop-punkers to vote Bush out of office in 2004. An accompanying tour is in the works, with one leg to occur when the album is out and another closer to election time.
