Incubus have officially announced the title of their upcoming new album will be A Crow Left Of The Murder. The disc will include 14 new tracks (listed in the more), with the first single set as "Megalomaniac". Keep an ear glued to the radio around December 15th to hear the new song, and then mark February 3rd down as the album release date.

As you know, after Poison The Well wrapped up their supporting dates with Deftones, they headed back out the next day on their own headlining tour with support of bands like The Bronx, Nora, and Every Time I Die. Pacifier have gone ahead and jumped on the live CD bandwagon, but they've kind of raised the bar in terms of content. Their release, Pacifier Live, compiles 2 CDs worth of the live material recorded in August 2003 over seven shows in their homeland, New Zealand. The track listing ranges from the early Shihad material all the way up to their 2003, self-titled US debut. Stay In The Shadows

John Frusciante will release his next solo album, titled Shadows Collide With People, on February 24th. The set will include appearances by Red Hot Chili Peppers mates Flea and Chad Smith, as well as Josh Klinghoffer of The Bicycle Thief. In other news, Frusciante recently contributed five songs, "Forever Away", "Dying Song", "Leave All The Days Behind", "Prostitution Song", and "Falling", to the soundtrack on the new Vincent Gallo film, The Brown Bunny. However, the soundtrack will be released only in Japan on November 28th. So, keep an eye on the import bins. The Butterfly Effect

Alanis Morrisette reported to Jam Music that she's nearly done with So-Called Chaos, the proper follow-up to Under Rug Swept. Building on earlier reports, Morrisette stated the album is a "bit of a departure" as the album features dance beats, loops and various distortions. Song titles currently include "Eight Easy Steps," "The Grudge," and "Knees of My Bees," although a full track listing has yet to be announced. To read more about the album, visit this article.

Nine Inch Nails Finally Bleed Through

As we figured, Nine Inch Nails is expected to surface early in 2004 with the tenatively titled album Bleedthrough. The album is reportedly more "stripped down and raw" as well as sporting co-production credits from Rick Rubin, Atticus Ross of the infamous Tapeworm project, and long-time collaborator Leo Herrera. A Number Not A Name

Statistics will follow-up their self-titled EP with a new full-length, Leave Your Name, on January 20th through Jade Tree. The album is said to "span the sonic spectrum with an impressive collection of power pop song craft, steadfast hooks and textural soundscapes." Whether that makes any sense or not, go download the MP3 of "A Number Not A Name" and make up your own description. A tour is currently being put together for next year in support of the album and will feature Dalley with full band, consisting of members of Desaparecidos and The Good Life. Plea For Peace 2004

The 2004 Plea For Peace Take Action Tour will feature Cursive, Desaparecidos and Mike Park playing dates between April and May 2004. The focus of the tour will be to young people interested in voting and the electoral process. As well, voter registration will be available at each stop on the tour. Dates will be held at non-Clear Channel venues (you can thank Conor for that) to promote media diversity, and 10% of earnings will be donated to a charity of each of the artist's choice. You can bet we will have the dates as soon as they are released.

Let The Illegal Downloading Begin

As you know, Jack White of the White Stripes is making his movie debut in Cold Mountain and contributing to the soundtrack. He recorded the original songs "Never Far Away" and "Christmas Time Will Soon Be Over" as well as the traditional "Wayfaring Stranger", "Great High Mountain" and a cover of legendary bluesman Howlin’ Wolf’s "Sittin’ On Top Of The World". I am not so sure about the movie, but the soundtrack is worth a listen. Click more for the full track listing, which also includes bluegrass artist Alison Krauss.

Refused Are Not Dead Yet!

It's been along time coming, as Burning Heart will be releasing the new DVD, Refused Are Fucking Dead, in Spring 2004. The Refused documentary will show never-before-seen material and other various videos. Epitaph will also be re-releasing the seminal The Shape Of Punk To Come, which has been remixed and remastered into DVD-audio format for release in early 2004.
