First off, the label is hosting Atlantic Rocks, a contest in which you can win $500 and a boatload of music. Second, if you are into Kid Rock (or more specifically shitty beer, cashing in on Southern culture, and gaining notoriety through re-recording classic rock covers), then enter this contest for a chance to win a trip to Vegas and more.

They have also had to put off the writing and recording of their upcoming album, which was orginally supposed to be released in the Spring of 2004. According to the Saddle Creek mailing list, this is all due to “scheduling conflicts” with members of the band. Speculation is that frontman Conor Oberst’s other project, Bright Eyes, is taking priority right now.
