Apparently, Jack White (of the White Stripes, fool) and Jason Stollmeister (of The Von Bondies) got into a physical altercation backstage at a Detroit club- some sort of Detroit music scene turf war, I suppose. The two used to be good friends and collaborators, but have fallen out recently (Jealousy? The cost of fame?). You can check out the reports on the Smoking Gun website and see the damages to Jason's face. Jeesh. Who knew skinny white indie-rock guys could cause so much damage?

Travis are coming back to tour North America at the end of January. On the 11-date tour, they will cover the continent, ending up in Mexico on February 7th. The band is currently gearing up for a one-off UK Christmas show on December 20th at London's Alexandra Palace with special guests Kings Of Leon and Ben Kweller.
