Tom Morello and Serj Tankian take time away from their day jobs (guitarist for Audioslave and singer for System of a Down if you've been living in a bunker) to tape a radio show at Burbank, California's KPFK as an extension of Axis of Justice, the social justice organization that Morello and Tankian founded. Azure Ray released their track "New Resolution" today and the CD single is set to include a live version of "The Drinks We Drank Last Night" and a remix of "New Resolution" done by Jimmy Tamborello of The Postal Service. The CD will also be enhanced with multimedia content including live video from the recording of the album as well as the video for "New Resolution" directed by Sam Jones. The band has announced European Tour Dates and a full US tour running mid-March through April will be announced within the next week as well.
Bright Eyes is heading out with Jim James (of My Morning Jacket) and M. Ward for a couple weeks worth of shows. Each person will perform a short, solo set followed by a longer collaborative set featuring all three. Sounds cool, dates below.

Bifocal Media will be releasing the Braid documentary, "Braid: Killing a Camera" on DVD in the coming months. Look for an early summer street date, and the list of goodies detailed below. In other Braid news, Bifocal Media will also be releasing the new full length for former Briad member Chris Broach's "Firebird Band" this summer. The album is described as "a collection of dense atmospheric keys, guitars, and fractured electronic drums, topped with Broach's distinct vocals."
