As you probably already know, The Roots will release The Tipping Point on July 13th. Below we have the track listing as well as a huge list of tour dates including headlining dates as well as 311 support dates.
All Parallels have signed with On the Rise/Law of Inertia Records to release their upcoming debut full-length. The record is titled Formulate A Tragedy, and was recorded with Nick Z (Cave In, Piebald, Kid Kilowatt). Look below for the track listing and some tour dates.

On June 8, Perry Farrell, Michelle Branch, Damien Rice and Macy Gray will join members of India's entertainment industry for a benefit at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Coldplay and Peter Gabriel are also said to be performing by remote satellite for the event.

First up: On The O.C. tonight, the new single "Ch-Check It Out" plays in the background as Seth and Ryan travel to Vegas. On Saturday Night Live they're rumored as musical guest (episode host is Snoop Dogg). Finally, on the MTV Movie Awards on 5/10, the group will perform along with D-12 and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Well add another band to the ever growing list of bands calling it quits. After ten years together Ontario's Chore have decided to call it a day. The band will be playing their final show on May 14th. Click more for a statement from the band.
Tentatively planned for a fall release, the final studio release by the late Elliot Smith is being mixed right now. From the Basement on the Hill was originally to be released by Dreamworks, but they turned over all of Smith's music to the family, so it is not known who will handle it at this point. Story of the Year recently recorded a song for the Warped Tour '04 compilation CD. The song is called "The Heart of Polka is Still Beating" and can be downloaded here. The Official Warped Tour 2004 Compilation will be in stores on June 8th through Side One Dummy Records.
In addition to the online e-card we told you about, Keane now have posted online the video for "Somewhere Only We Know" in Windows Media and Real Media. NME is describing these guys' music as "Radiohead Kid-A era covering A-Ha," which sounds like something NME would say. There album Hopes and Fears hits streets on 5/25
The Jealous Sound will hit the road again in their campaign to bring you the rock. In their short break between tours, the band has already begun writing songs for their next full-length.
