In the time it takes to put out another Tool record, A Perfect Circle will have yet another release under their belt. On November 2nd the band will be releasing eMOTIVe; a collection of covers featuring the likes of "Imagine" by John Lennon, "What's Goin On?" by Marvin Gaye, and "Let's Have A War" by FEAR. You can check out an animated video from the band here along with a note from Maynard explaining the signifigance of the album. So remember to go pick that disc up on your way to the voting polls.

Matthews Band In Deep Poop

Apparently, The Dave Matthews Band is being sued by The State of Illinois for allegedly dumping up to 800 lbs of sewage into the Chicago River from a bridge under which some hapless tourist were passing on an architecture tour. The sewage was dumped from the onboard septic tank on one of the tour buses and doused the boat below. All parties are cooperating with an investigation into the incident.

If It Smells Like Sims

Adding music, not to mention themselves as characters, for the upcoming game "The Urbz: Sims in the City" seemed like the thing to do for Black Eyed Peas. They're even re-working lyrics for 9 tracks off their next album, Monkey Business, in "Simlish," the funky language spoken in the game. The game is expected to hit shelves next fall and the Pea's album is due out in November.

Broken Collarbone, Promises

According to Pollstar the upcoming Helmet tour we told you about is being delayed because Page Hamilton wiped out on his mountain bike and broke his collarbone. The tour is now scheduled to start in October. The release date of their latest, Size Matters, is also being pushed back from September 14th to October 5th.

I Feel So Dirty, And I Like It!

Nov 30th is the date set for the release of Dirty Vegas' sophomore album, ONE. The first single, "Walk Into the Sun," will hit us on Sept 28th, and the album is being touted as being more organic in terms of instrumentation. One can only hope it will be snapped up by some groovy car manufacturer and forced into our consciousness like before!

Mastodon will be joining Slayer and Killswitch Engage on this year's Jägermeister Music Tour, expected to kick off in October. Dates have not been announced just yet, so keep your pants on. Mastodon's new album Leviathan, which is reportedly based in part on Moby Dick, will be released on August 31st.

Eddie Needs a New Pair Of Shoes

File this under 'greedy rock stars': Van Halen is now suing the Baltimore Orioles for $2 million in damages after the team reneged on a deal that would have had the band playing at Camden Yards Sept 2nd.
