The Melvins have cancelled all their remaining tour dates through the end of this year due to an illness in the band. Details on the illness or whom it has stricken are not yet available. Get well soon ill Melvins member!

Expanding The Downward Spiral

Nine Inch Nails will reissue The Downward Spiral on November 23rd as an expanded edition release. The original CD will now be an SACD for high resolution stereo, there will be a second disc of remixes, demos, b-sides, and previously unreleased material, and there will be new deluxe packaging. The Datsuns have just finished and released their new video for “Girl’s Best Friend” which was directed by Michael Palmieri (A Band Apart) and features the Derby Dolls- LA's all girl roller derby team. Check it out in Windows Media and Real Video. The band released their new album Outta Site/Outta Mind Sept 14th, and they are currently on the road.

Not So Black and White

Epitaph Records has joined forces with Quicksilver Entertainment to release five skate and surf dvds. Due in stores October 12th, the initial offering will be “Black and White,” a 1991 Quicksilver production featuring Kelly Slater. Other titles include “Circle One,”, “Football Shmootball”, “Second Thoughts” as well as DC Shoes’ first ever skateboarding video, “The DC Video.”
