Conor Oberst, Alone Again

While some would rather just have another Desaparecidos record, it seems Conor Oberst has instead moved in the opposite direction. Oberst will release a self-titled, solo album through Merge on August 5th. The album was recorded in Mexico with Andy LeMaster and a group of musicians known as the Mystic Valley Band. Oberst and said band have four Fall shows already set. More

Producer Leila has decided to get back into the game after a 7-year hiatus and will release a new album, Blood, Looms and Blooms, on June 9th (UK) through Warp Records. The album features vocals from Terry Hall of The Specials and Martina Topley Bird.
