C'Mon And Raise Up

Reported by heyrevolver

I'm sure you remember the tribute album that Henry Rollins organized to benefit the West Memphis Three. Well, now Henry is taking his Rollins Band out in support of the project. The tribute was a collection of covers of Black Flag songs, so it makes sense that the Rolins Band will be performing all Black Flag songs. They'll be bringing along original Flag vocalist Keith Morris as well. All proceeds will go to the WM3 Defense Fund to fund DNA testing for the case. Tour dates behind the more.

The Girls of Porn

Reported by ben

Charlotte Caffey and Jane Wiedlin, who you may know as members of The Go-Go's, are very much involved in bringing the life of Linda Lovelace back to life in the land of off-Broadway musicals. Tina Yothers will play the part of Lovelace in what is being creatively titled, "Lovelace, the Musical". Yeah, that Tina Yothers is playing the star of Deep Throat. Ms. Caffey co-wrote the music while Wiedlin has served as creative consultant. For those of you interested in seeing this, it'll be previewed in LA late in June and will have a run at New York's Revelation Theater in the fall.

The orange clouds are raining on her head

Reported by ben

Tori Amos has just announced a string of 25 summer tour dates. They're all pretty much at amphitheatres and if there's anything I've learned about shows at amphitheatres in the few shows I've been to at one, it is that there are definitely bad seats. So get your tickets early cause they'll go fast.

Gin-ger! Gin-GER!!!!

Reported by ben

Marking the greatest news ever in the history of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mike Patton recently told Underdog Online that Mr. Bungle has probably broken up. He explained that, "The guys are spread all over the world and we don't talk to each other. I have not spoken to a couple of the guys since the last tour, years ago." For now, Tomahawk and Fantomas are Patton's main projects, while he's also got a collaboration in the works with Dan "the Automator" Nakamura to be known as Peeping Tom. While this may be a sweet victory for Mr. Keidis and Flea, surely it will never erase the pain of the Halloween incident.

Let's Get Retarded

Reported by heyrevolver

It seems the Black Eyed Peas thought they could slip a new album release and not tell anyone! Well, I'm here to ruin the surprise, because their new LP, Elephunk, will be released on June 24th through Interscope. The first single, "Let's Get Retarded," should be hitting radio and MTV soon. But, what's more likely to hit first is their recent collabo with Justin Timberlake on the track "Where's The Love." You can read about it over at VH1.com. But, in the meantime, head over to the BEP website to check out their summer tour dates and stream "Let's Get Retarded."
